Catalog Course Description: This course examines both the theoretical and practical basis of speech communication, particularly public speaking. Emphasis is on speech preparation, organization, support, delivery, and audience analysis.
Required for A. Note: I am not online 24 hours a day. If you send me an email, it may take a day or two before you receive a response. I tend to check my email during my office hours and in the evenings. All class assignments and tests MUST be completed.
Failure to complete all assignments or tests will result in failing the course. Attendance: Attendance: Regular attendance and participation is expected. Please be aware that it is possible to fail this course due to lack of class work.
These acts of dishonesty include, but are not limited to: 1. Fraud: Acts of dishonesty, which include falsification of documents, fabrication of data, and altering solutions to be submitted or resubmitted for a grade. Students may avoid plagiarism by fully and consistently crediting the person or persons responsible for the original work. Hence, make your final examination and travel plans accordingly. Grades: Each assignment is worth a specified number of points, so final grades will be tabulated on a total-point basis.
